To say that Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon had a painful at-bat in the 15th inning of Wednesday night's game against the Baltimore Orioles would be an understatement. Gordon hit a ball straight into the ground that bounced up and hit him in the groin.
Ouch.
After taking some much needed time to recover, Gordon was able to finish the at-bat, but made the final out of the game by grounding out to second base, which gave the Orioles a 4-3 victory.
