Phoenix Coyotes defenseman Derek Morris scored a goal from center ice in the first period of Sunday night's NHL Western Conference final playoff game against the Los Angeles Kings.
Morris took a slapshot from center ice towards the Kings net and caught goalie Jonathan Quick napping. However, the Kings were able to overcome Quick's mistake and defeated the Coyotes 4-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.
