Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade was called for a flagrant foul Tuesday night when he knocked Indiana Pacers guard Darren Collison down with an elbow to the back.
It happened in the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinal playoff series. Wade was apparently upset about a prior play where he felt he was fouled by Dahntay Jones on a shot attempt, but no foul was called. Shortly afterwards, Danny Granger and Collison led the Pacers down the floor on a fast break when Wade teed off on Collison from behind with the elbow, even though Granger had the ball.
The Pacers won the game 78-75 to tie the series at one game apiece.
