Kansas City Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer hit a rare infield double in the seventh inning of Saturday's game at Camden Yards against the Baltimore Orioles.
Hosmer chopped a slow grounder down the third base line that looked like it might roll foul. Orioles catcher Matt Weiters, pitcher Darren O'Day and third baseman Wilson Betemit all chose to watch the ball roll down the line. By the time the ball finally stopped on the line about 10 feet from third base, Hosmer made it into second with the infield double.
Hosmer scored when the next Royals batter, Humberto Quintero, hit a double to deep left field. The Royals won the game 4-3.
