Washington Nationals starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez isn't used to running around the bases, and it showed Saturday when he advanced to third base from second on a groundout and slid horribly into the bag.
Kids, don't try this at home.
Gonzalez slid feet first and ended up on his stomach as he slid over the bag. The important thing was that Gonzalez was safe and didn't hurt himself, and was able to get a real good laugh out of it afterwards.
