Charles Barkley got a champagne bath from fellow "Inside the NBA" studio analyst Kenny Smith on Monday night as part of an on-air celebration for winning the Sports Emmy award for best weekly studio show.
Kenny Smith handed out champagne bottles to his partners in the studio to celebrate "Inside the NBA" winning the Sports Emmy award. As Charles Barkley was complaining about the cheap brand of champagne that Smith bought, Smith poured his bottle all over Barkley...which would explain why Smith didn't buy the good stuff.
As Smith pointed out, Charles Barkley had never been part of a championship team during his NBA career, so he wanted Barkley to experience the feeling of that celebration...including the burning of the eyes after champagne gets into them.
