Raising the bar on the recent trend of flopping in the NBA, San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili and Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden flopped at the same time during Sunday's opening game of the NBA Western Conference finals.
It happened in the fourth quarter as Ginobili had the ball and was looking for someone to pass to while Harden came in close to guard him. Both players flopped and fell backwards to the floor at the exact same time, pulling off an extremely rare 'double flop'. However, the call went in Ginobili's favor as the foul was called on Harden.
Ginobili is becoming well known for his "floppiness". This one just continues the trend, and Ginobili will continue to do it until the officials do something about it. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon.
