During Monday night's baseball game in Philadelphia, Washington Nationals center fielder Rick Ankiel delayed the start of the bottom of the first inning as he was late getting out to center field.
The rest of the Nationals took their positions in the field and were ready to go, but they would have been at a disadvantage without a center fielder, so Ankiel was nice enough to join them.
Ankiel raised his cap to acknowledge his goof as was booed by the hometown Phillies fans. It's unclear why Ankiel was late getting out to center field.
