Chicago White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski lost track of the outs as he was catching in the top of the eighth inning of Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Cubs. That led to an awkward but funny moment as Pierzynski jogged off the field into the dugout not realizing that there were only two outs.
This seems to be an epidemic among the major leaguers this year, as just in the last month we've also seen Rickie Weeks, Ichiro Suzuki and Starlin Castro lose track of the outs in the field. With the money these guys get paid, you would think the least they could do is pay attention while they're playing.
