At halftime during a recent soccer match in Brazil, Vasco da Gama striker Eder Luis decided to give Palmieras midfielder Marcio Araujo his jersey, but things became awkward when Araujo did not reciprocate.
After Luis tried to pull the jersey off Araujo's back, Araujo offered him a handshake, which Luis naturally refused. Luis and Araujo are reportedly friends, but this could make things a little uncomfortable going forward.
In this case, I would have to side with Araujo in not wanting to exchange his jersey, considering there was another half left to play in the match. Couldn't Luis have waited until the match was over?
