Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis took a spill after rounding first on a single during Saturday's game at Minute Maid Park against the Houston Astros.
It happened in the top of the seventh inning as Kipnis hit a single to deep left field. As Kipnis rounded first, he stepped on top of the bag (instead of hitting the corner of the bag), which caused him to stumble and do a faceplant on the ground. Kipnis got up and had to run back to first, but he made it safely.
It's unlikely Kipnis would have made it to second on the play, but a bit embarrassing nonetheless.
