Chicago White Sox announcer Hawk Harrelson referred to the Seattle Mariners as 'seamen' during the sixth inning of Saturday's WGN telecast.
With the Mariners having the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning and Ichiro at the plate, Harrelson said "Sacks packed with seamen", meaning bases loaded with Mariners. Viewers at home can debate whether Harrelson was making an inappropriate reference to something else.
