A fan at Monday night's San Diego Padres game against the Houston Astros caught a foul ball using his glove in an unusual way, and managed to make the catch despite having a broken thumb.
It happened in the top of the sixth inning as Astros batter Chris Johnson hit a foul ball high into the stands. The fan had a cast on his right thumb and a glove that was supposed to go on his left hand, but was busy eating a bread bowl and had to scramble to place the glove on top of his right hand in order to make a basket catch.
