Over the weekend, the Olympic torch relay made its way through Waltham Cross, where the torch was carried on a whitewater raft, where it was accidentally extinguished...as shocking as that may be to believe.
Fortunately, there are always "backup flames" nearby to light up the torch again, but seriously, who's the rocket scientist that came up with this idea? The only good thing about carrying the Olympic torch on a whitewater raft was that there were no kids nearby trying to steal it.
