Jacksonville sports anchor Dan Hicken went a little overboard last Tuesday night after 2012 Summer Olympics coverage on NBC did not wrap up until 12:07AM, instead of ending at midnight as scheduled. That obviously pushed back the time of the local news broadcast, which apparently was too much for Hicken to take as he went on a full one-minute rant, placing the entire blame on Olympics host Bob Costas.
In the end, Hicken tries to toss the whole thing under the rug with "I love [Bob], though. He's a great broadcaster."
Lighten up, Dan. It's not Bob's fault. Besides, the Olympics only comes around once every four years, so you can wait an extra seven minutes to get home and go to sleep.
