American pro golfer Mark Wiebe was caught swearing by live Golf Channel microphones after missing a putt for par and having to settle for bogey on the 17th hole in the first round of the AT&T Championship tournament in San Antonio.
WARNING: NSFW language. Not for the kids.
The television announcers offered the obligatory apology for Wiebe's salty language. Looks like the Golf Channel needs to implement a 7-second delay, or at the very least, turn the nearby microphones off after a golfer misses a putt. It's an easy fix to avoid these types of awkward moments.
Wiebe finished the round at even par and was in the top 10 on the leaderboard going into the second round.
(UPDATE: Looks like all copies of the video of Wiebe's rant have disappeared. If it becomes available again, we'll try to get it for you).
