A huge gust of wind blew a punt backwards into the end zone for a safety during a recent high school football game in Texas.
The victim was the punter of Byron Nelson High School (Trophy Club, TX). Watch the video here as the punter kicks the ball from his own 15 yard line, but the strong wind pushed the ball backwards in the air.
The ball touched down inside the 10 yard line before rolling into the end zone. Kudos to the Byron Nelson players who made the smart decision to take the safety rather than give up a touchdown to the opposing Guyer High Wildcats (Denton, TX).
