Sacramento Kings guard Aaron Brooks broke a tooth while diving for a loose ball during Wednesday night's season-opening NBA game against the Chicago Bulls.
It happened in the fourth quarter as Brooks was defending Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich near halfcourt. Hinrich lost possession of the ball after dribbling it off his sneaker, and as Brooks dove for the ball, Hinrich dove on top of him, knocking his face into the floor.
Brooks immediately took himself to the bench to get checked out, but did stay in the game, finishing with 7 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Brooks' tooth was found and recovered.
