During the third quarter of Friday night's Los Angeles Lakers game at the Staples Center, the home crowd began chanting "We Want Phil!" in the team's first NBA game after Mike Brown was fired as head coach earlier in the day.
The chant was for former Lakers head coach Phil Jackson, who retired in 2010 after coaching the Lakers to five NBA championships. Jackson appears to be the leading candidate to take over as head coach, and based on this video evidence, Lakers fans would sign him up in a heartbeat.
