Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook crashed into some fans and spilled some drinks as he leaped into the stands while trying to save the ball during the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Westbrook leaped into the front row and was almost able to save it, but his feet landed on a front row seat before he was able to toss the ball back onto the court.
Westbrook proceeded to tumble backwards into the second row. Westbrook was OK, but some fans spilled their drinks as he crashed into them, not only on themselves but also on the court surface. This sent the arena cleaning crew into action which caused a brief delay in the game. Harry the Hawk came over to greet the front row fans, who were good sports about everything.
Although Westbrook failed to save the ball on this play, he did score 27 points and dished out 11 assists to help lead the Thunder to a 100-92 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
