Kobe Bryant dished what would have been the perfect assist to Howard near the basket, but Howard's two-handed slam dunk attempt bounced off the back of the rim.
Howard made up for it in the end, however, as he led the Lakers to a 111-106 victory over the Hornets with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 blocks.
