Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin suffered a nasty cut when he banged heads with Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders during Friday night's NBA game at BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Early in the third quarter, Lin and Sanders were chasing down a loose ball on the Rockets defensive end of the court. Lin got to the ball first but the collision with Sanders opened up a cut on the left side of his head. Lin left the game to receive five stitches, but proved his toughness by returning to the bench late in the third quarter and starting the fourth quarter.
Lin finished the game with 8 points and 7 assists in a 115-101 Rockets victory.
