Minnesota Wild center Zenon Konopka suffered a gash on the bridge of his nose from a high stick he took during Saturday's season opener against the Colorado Avalanche. However, despite getting 30 stitches, Konopka was determined to return for the following night's game, as proven by this picture he tweeted showing himself with the gash on his nose.
More noteworthy for us, however, is the pet bunny Konopka was holding in the picture. Who says that hockey players don't have a sensitive side?
Konopka did play in Sunday night's 1-0 win over the Dallas Stars, although he only saw about 7 minutes of ice time.
