Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook accidentally scored an own goal during the second period of Tuesday night's NHL game at the United Center against the Anaheim Ducks.
It happened in the second period as Seabrook was blocking a pass sent through the goal crease from Ducks center Ryan Getzlaf to his teammate Corey Perry. Unfortunately, Seabrook knocked the puck past goalie Corey Crawford into his own net, looking almost as if he did it on purpose.
The end result was Getzlaf getting credit for scoring a Ducks goal, and the Ducks won the game in a 3-2 shootout.
