Brooklyn Nets rookie forward Mirza Teletovic, a 27-year-old rookie from Bosnia, shot three consecutive air balls during the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's NBA game against the Detroit Pistons. We can not confirm whether Teletovic set an NBA record in the process.
As of this writing, Teletovic only averages about 8 minutes a game (in 28 games played). It's going to be tough for Teletovic to fight for more playing time until he proves he can at least hit the rim with his shots.
