Oklahoma City Thunder fan Justin Dougherty hit a half-court shot to win $20,000 during a timeout in Sunday night's game at Chesapeake Energy Arena. After giving a big hug to his girlfriend, Dougherty ran back out to midcourt and was taken down to the floor by a bear hug from Kevin Durant.
It all played out just like it did in Miami back in January when
LeBron James tackled a Miami Heat fan who made a half-court shot to win $75,000. In fact, Dougherty admitted watching the LeBron footage and told his girlfriend that he was hoping to be tackled by Durant or Russell Westbrook. KD came through and made Dougherty's night.
To top it off, the Thunder blew out the Trail Blazers 103-83, so a great night all around for Thunder fans.
