An unusual play was attempted in a third-tier soccer match from Austria from last October between SC Weiz and SC Furstenfeldbruck, but only just recently seems to be going viral.
With Kevin Steiner of SC Weiz setting up for a free kick, Furstenfeldbruck set up a wall, but two of Steiner's teammates knelt down in front of the wall. Naturally this would seem a bit dangerous, and sure enough, Steiner's free kick was blocked by the face of one of the players.
We're pretty sure that it was not the intention of Weiz to kick the ball directly into one of their own players' faces, but unfortunately we really can't tell what they were doing.
