Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale used a flying karate kick to score a goal early in Saturday's Barclays Premiere League soccer match against Wigan.
Bale took advantage of a lackadaisical pass from Wigan defender Maynor Figueroa to goalkeeper Joe Robles and went on the attack. Bale used the karate kick to block Robles' attempt to boot the ball away, and it worked in spectacular fashion as the ball went right into the net.
The goal gave Tottenham a 1-0 lead, but the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
