Miami Marlins starting pitcher Jose Fernandez is not accustomed to running the bases very much, if at all. That may have contributed to the trouble Fernandez had putting on his coat after he made it to first base with an RBI single in Saturday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fernandez seemed to have trouble with the zipper on his coat and, after getting a little help from first base umpire Chris Guccione, opted to pull the coat over his head. However, that didn't go so smoothly, either.
In the end, Fernandez received almost as much applause from the crowd for finally getting his coat on than he did for driving in the Marlins run. Unfortunately, it was the only run of the game for the Marlins as they lost to the Phillies 2-1.
