Texas Rangers rookie relief pitcher Joe Ortiz wore a Minnie Mouse backpack as he walked to the dugout from the bullpen after Tuesday night's win over the Houston Astros.
This would seem to continue a tradition of friendly rookie hazing for the Rangers. Last year, Robbie Ross walked to the bullpen before a game dressed as a cowboy, with an outfit that included a pink backpack.
