A black bird perched himself on the infield grass near the pitcher's mound at Coors Field to watch Tampa Bay Rays pitcher David Price pitch to Colorado Rockies batters during the seventh inning of Saturday night's game.
The bird was on the third base side of the infield, about ten feet from the mound, and sat through multiple Rockies at-bats without moving.
Interestingly enough, the bird may have served as an omen for Price. After getting the first two batters out, the Rockies scored five runs, chasing him out of the game on the way to a 9-3 victory.
