Atlanta Braves pitcher Kris Medlen got his first career stolen base during Wednesday night's game at Turner Field against the New York Mets.
It came with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning as Mets relief pitcher Carlos Torres clearly wasn't paying attention to him. Medlen got a jump of at least three steps before Torres began his windup for the pitch to home plate, making it an easy stolen base. Now there's an accomplishment that most pitchers don't have on their resume.
Medlen also pitched seven innings and got the win in the 5-3 Braves victory.
