With his pending retirement this coming February, NBA Commissioner David Stern made his final appearance at the NBA Draft on Thursday evening at the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets.
Stern was greeted by a large number of boos from the fans in attendance as he was introduced at the beginning of the draft, to which he responded "Good evening, and thank you for that enthusiastic Brooklyn welcome."
Stern further riled up the crowd before announcing the third pick of the draft, taking a long dramatic pause before saying "I can't hear you."
Who ever said Stern doesn't have a sense of humor?
