Los Angeles Kings left winger Dustin Penner threw an elbow to the head of Chicago Blackhawks center Dave Bolland, and got away with it, during the third period of Thursday night's Game 4 of the NHL Western Conference Finals.
No penalty was given to Penner on the play, and with
no hearing scheduled by the NHL to review the elbow, Penner would not appear to be facing any fine or suspension.
Bolland was shaken up but was not seriously hurt on the play. Bolland was able to get the last laugh as the Blackhawks won the game 3-2 to take a 3-1 series lead.
