Kansas City Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning to close out a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. The Royals introduced a new twist in the victory celebration when they mobbed Hosmer out on the field by dousing him not with water or Gatorade, but with barbecue sauce.Interestingly enough, the BBQ sauce looked so much like blood that the Royals television broadcasters thought someone had opened up a cut on Hosmer's head. Fortunately that wasn't the case.
