The Los Angeles Lakers are stepping up their efforts to urge center Dwight Howard to stay with the team. Apparently they hope that painting the Beverly Hills Hotel facade with a replica of Howard's Lakers jersey will help convince him that staying with the team is the right move for him.
This all seems a little desperate on the part of the Lakers, and you have to wonder if Kobe Bryant is on board with this.
UPDATE: Apparently this image was photoshopped. Still, having the image posted on the Lakers Twitter feed smells of the desperation you might expect from a lower tier NBA team, not from one of the league's top franchises.
H/T FTW.
