Arizona Diamondbacks right fielder Gerardo Parra turned a bunt base hit into a double during the fifth inning of their July 4th matchup against the New York Mets.
Parra bunted the ball through the right side of the infield and hustled to second when he saw Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy forced to chase the ball into short right field, giving Parra a double. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, a bunt double. How often do you see that?
Then again, maybe we shouldn't be that surprised, as this was the Mets, after all.
