Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Yunel Escobar gave himself such a workout during his pregame handshake ritual with his teammates before Tuesday's game that it's amazing that he had any energy left to play the game itself.
Escobar went 0-for-3 at the plate. Maybe he should save a little bit of that energy. No problem with bonding with your teammates and having a little fun, but find a way to save something for the game. Maybe cut back on the jumping.
