The balls were slippery after an hour and 15 minute rain delay. Unfortunately, the fan didn't factor that in when he raised the ball in the air after tracking down the foul ball by Yankees batter Brett Gardner. The ball slipped out of his hand and back up into the air, and he experienced from the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat all within a matter of seconds.
