St. Louis Cardinals closer Edward Mujica made a great defensive play in the ninth inning of Tuesday night's game, jumping up to field a comebacker and throwing to first base from the seat of his pants for the out.
Mujica jumped up and bobbled a chopper from Los Angeles Dodgers batter A.J. Ellis, but was able to get control of it while falling down. After landing on his back, Mujica was able to sit up and throw to first for the out, receiving a round of applause from his teammates and the crowd. Nice play.
