Toronto Blue Jays center fielder Rajai Davis caught a fly ball despite losing his hat and somehow kicking it in front of his eyes with his back foot during Thursday night's game in the Bronx.
It happened in the eighth inning as Yankees batter Curtis Granderson hit the fly ball to center field. As Davis chased it down, his hat fell off the back of his head, but it was kicked by his back foot and flew up his back into his line of sight.
Davis seemed completely unfazed and deserves credit for keeping his concentration while making the catch. It seems Davis is more suited to playing center field instead of right field, where he doesn't have to deal with interference from ball boys.
