Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland went through a complete range of emotions during the team's celebration of their third straight American League Central division title after Wednesday night's victory over the Minnesota Twins, highlighted by a little crying and a little moonwalk.
Leyland began crying during a postgame interview with FOX Sports Detroit, and thanked the Tiger fans for their support in a very classy gesture. However, just before Leyland's emotions fully got the best of him, Torii Hunter came to the rescue. Like Superman rescuing someone from a burning building, Hunter picked up Leyland and carried him into the locker room to join the rest of the team as they celebrated, at which point Leyland broke out not just a smile, but a pretty decent moonwalk.
Leyland has been seen doing Michael Jackson's trademark move before, most notably earlier this month before the Tigers held Motown Night at Comerica Park. After all the hard work he puts in, it's good to see Leyland enjoying the moment.
