New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera was brought into the eighth inning of Thursday's home season finale, marking the final appearance of his career at Yankee Stadium before his retirement.
Rivera came into the game with two men on and one man out. Appropriately enough, Mo got out of the jam by retiring two batters in the eighth, and recorded two more outs in the ninth before being taken out of the game for a final standing ovation from fans and teammates.
The Yankees lost the game 4-0, but it's safe to say that Yankee fans in attendance got their money's worth.
