Colorado Avalanche defenseman Erik Johnson briefly interrupted a live bench interview being conducted with teammate Ryan Wilson by petting Wilson's face with his stick during the second period of Friday night's game in Denver.
After a quick laugh, Wilson proved himself as the consummate professional and continued the interview despite Johnson's attempted distractions.
Johnson was likely in a good mood as he opened the scoring with a first period goal in the 4-2 Avs victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.
