Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference on Tuesday. While most people were interested to hear about the team's preparations for Sunday's game against the New York Jets, some were interested in how many times that Tomlin would use the word "obviously" during the press conference.
Apparently Tomlin has the tendency to use the word "obviously" a lot, using the word as much as 28 times in one of his prior conferences. So how many times did Tomlin use the word this week?
In this week's press conference, Tomlin used the word "obviously" 27 times, plus one use of the word "obvious". Over the course of the 16-minute press conference, it may not be that noticeable, but in the stripped-down version, it's painfully obvious that overusing the word could become a distraction.
