Nebraska Cornhuskers head football coach Bo Pelini received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty during the third quarter of Friday's Big Ten conference game against Iowa for swiping his hat at an official.
Pelini was holding his hat in his hand as he argued with the official about a 12-yard pass interference penalty called on linebacker Zaire Anderson. Apparently frustrated with the response, Pelini swiped his hat and came a bit too close to hitting the official in the face with his hat, resulting in another 15 yards being tacked onto the original penalty.
Looks like Pelini could use a little anger management training.
UPDATE: In the postgame press conference, Pelini not only did not offer an apology for his actions, but said that the penalty was "a chicken sh** call".
