Florida Gators football fans did not seem to be coming out to "The Swamp" for Saturday's homecoming game against Vanderbilt, as evidenced by the thousands of empty seats observed at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium just 10 minutes before kickoff.
Granted that many might consider that the Gators are having a disappointing season with a record of 4-4 and heading into Saturday's game with a three game losing streak. Still, even if Florida fans are coming to the game a little late, it's a bit surprising to see the stadium less than half full for a football game.
