Toronto Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri steamrolled Minnesota Wild goaltender Niklas Backstrom in the middle of the goal crease during the first period of Wednesday night's NHL game in Saint Paul.
Not only was it a blatant collision on Kadri's part, but he elbowed Backstrom in the head as he knocked him to the ice. After Backstrom got up, he was only able to stay in the game for two more minutes before coming out and heading for the dressing room.
Kadri was given two minutes for goaltender interference, but you have to wonder if further punishment is pending from the NHL. If this wasn't enough, Kadri was ejected from the game in the third period after elbowing Wild center Mikael Granlund in the head. One way or another, Kadri is going to pay.
