Tampa Bay Lightning captain Martin St. Louis wiped out while celebrating his first period goal in Monday night's game against the New York Rangers.
St. Louis slipped backwards and fell to the ice after throwing a fist pump, but fortunately, the goal still counts. St. Louis finished the game with two goals and an assist in the 5-0 Lightning victory.
It was a perfect night for St. Louis to have such a great performance, as he was honored by the Lightning before the game for having played in his 1,000th NHL game last week.
