Florida-based Spirit Airlines is using the public allegations against Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito as an opportunity to shamelessly promote their fare discounts.
The tagline for the ad reads: "Don't be bullied by high fares. Fly incognito out of Florida or any place for that matter." The words are written in aqua blue and coral orange, which happen to be the Dolphins team colors.
Removing any remaining doubt as to whether the Incognito reference was coincidental or not, the ad features the image of a man in a suit wearing what appears to be a Dolphins helmet, with the only difference being a missing team logo.
So, how much does Spirit Airlines feel that this advertisement will help their business? Only time will tell if this questionable move was worth it.
